If we want to produce aluminum, we can not only use the aluminum extruder to operate, but also can be used by matching the aluminum extrusion die. The mold is composed of cavity and center, high positioning accuracy and complex structure. In order to produce reliable extrusion dies, we must follow standard process specifications.
 
Because the aluminum extruder used by the mold material hardness is higher, when the mold began rough machining, the tool should be used carbide tool. Pay attention to the cutting speed and chip groove to achieve a reasonable chip breaking effect.
 
Using a milling machine to process aluminum alloy profile extruder extrusion die core and diverter hole, milling tool to achieve the molding process, the core source of the mold and the intersecting line of the diverter hole plane smooth connection, smooth surface, eliminate the stress concentration on the processing surface, improve the resistance to change the ability of the mold.
 
Usually the molds of edM aluminum extruders adopt working belts and mold models, large current, wide pulse rough machining working belts, small current, narrow pulse precision machining mold core, working belts, to improve the accuracy. The die hole is processed by wire cutting. The cutting process should be kept stable to prevent the cutting interruption and the die transition is not smooth.
 
After the extrusion die of aluminum extruder is finished, heat treatment should be carried out to improve its toughness. Toner is usually used for protection, placed in a heating box for heating, and the corresponding work is completed with the equipment. Aluminum extruders are divided into three independent control areas, namely, cold saw control area, hot saw control area, tension control area and torsion control area, which are used for different processes.
